"He reports that he is feeling well, and we discussed the importance of focusing on his continued recovery and next level of care planning. I encouraged him to continue focusing on himself while allowing his family the opportunity to focus on their own healing and support process as well.

We also discussed TRT and the recommendation that treatment may continue for approximately 30–60 days, depending on therapeutic progress, including participation in therapy and EMDR. Following completion of TRT, the plan would be for Paul to continue with IOP services upon returning home. Paul verbalized understanding of and agreement with this plan.

Paul flagged he had been missing Lynn's calls (his phone silences unknown numbers) and asked about sending more photos + letters. Stephanie was on the thread. Lynn confirmed Dad was still at Haven and encouraged more photos + letters: "I know he would love to have more photos and letters."

Angela asked Lynn for the list of medications. Lynn asked whether it was medical or mental health meds being requested. Both replied: both. Paul added:

"Knowing his full medication list (and why those) will help us understand where he is in the process, and how we can best plan for his transition when he's done at TRT. I'd like to make sure his care team (PCP, cardiologist, GI, psychologist, etc) are aware of his changes so we can start prepping them for IOP later, or starting to find different care providers to better support him when he's done with your program." — Paul Mederos, 2026-05-26

Angela asked Lynn when Dad would transition to TRT. Lynn CC'd Rico in this reply (introducing him to the family thread) and laid out the full post-TRT roadmap:

"There is no date as of yet. I am copying Rico on here so he can be in the loop with the family.

I am attaching his current doctor's orders. He will need to continue to follow up, of course, with his PCP once he is complete with TRT and Outpatient therapy, as we previously discussed, and AA meetings. He should see a psychiatrist to continue to handle his mental health medication, which he takes for his anxiety and depression.
